This entry is the official winner of Time Out New York’s Ultimate Bagel Test.  

You should probably try it out for yourself as the ingredients and combination of this “Absolute Bagel” ( Lox, Cream Cheese, Tomato, Purple Onion) sound divine.

This picture (above) reminds me of Sunday morning brunches when I still lived in New York.  It’s sold pretty close to where I used to live — just a few blocks north in fact —and though the store is a cash-only establishment, I figure it’s worth a look.  

I think I have a new favourite website: scanwiches.  I also want to live in a city made of sandwiches.  Imagine: all the bread that you could eat.
